Barracuda boom
Application field
The BARRACUDA containment booms are usable in river
zones, in estuaries, in harbors, or in open coastal zones
as well.
They are composed of a succession of foam plates incorporated
in waterproof casings and of a ballast chain exposed over
its entire length. Thanks to the subdivision into identical
elements, the booms are highly flexible.
Technical field
- resistance to ripping and torsion,
- resistance to temperatures from -30°C to 90°C,
with a maximum of 120°C for a short period of use,
- resistance to wear and abrasion,
- resistance to hydrocarbons, oily materials (lubricants,
mineral oils) and almost all industrial chemicals.
